ABOUT GEMMA

I have been working in the health and fitness for over 20 years.
My passion for healing began at 16, when I enrolled in a sports massage course. This initial training sparked a lifelong journey of discovering effective methods to help the body heal. After completing a college course in applied science, I pursued a degree in sport science at university, where I came to understand that the healing process is far more complex than I had once imagined.

After university, I traveled the world to gain insight into how other cultures practiced their healing arts. I earned qualifications in Thai massage and reflexology in Thailand, as well as a range of Ayurvedic treatments in India, including Indian head, reflexology and relaxation massage.

I began to realize that healing the body is incomplete without also healing the mind, which led me back to India. There, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at a silent ashram, nestled in nature and located beside one of the 12 most auspicious temples of Lord Shiva—the origin of yoga tradition—making this experience truly special.

Upon returning to the UK, I worked as a wellness practitioner, blending personal training, yoga, and massage to create a personalized approach for each client.

Currently I am enrolled on a herbalism course and in the process of converting my qualifications to be a RMT practitioner.
